Wrenched Records

Wrenched Records is a San Diego label from run by two guys from Spanakorzo. Though they don't release records very often, the ones they do put out are pretty impressive.

Boilermaker
Yearning emocore that will suit anyone feeling loss and discontent. Boilermaker concocts a curious potion of inquisitive indie punk, featuring full-bodied guitar stylings with sensitive vocals.

Boilermaker - 1998
Leucadia - 2001

Calabash Case
Take elements of a hailstorm of guitar-powered scream scenes and subdued and challenging moonlit overtones and you get the Frankenstein called Calabash Case. Their spoken word vocals and delicate invitations will clear your mind.

Parading Constantly - 1998

The Interstate Ten
The Interstate Ten wallows gracefully in a Palace-style alienation. This is for everyone who knows that Sebadoh had it right on their early records.

Silver Lake Creek Below Forest - 1998

The Shortwave Channel
Combine hefty bass lines from a wacked-out discotheque, David Lynch-inspired Moog rantings, octopus-style drumming, and emphatic screams. The product is a stylish and cathartic wall of noise not to be forgotten.

Bright Lights They Hurt - 1999

Spanakorzo
Halloween music for the thick-skulled, Spanakorzo brings you percussion, conviction, and fearful precision in what could only be described as a guillotine for your eardrums.

Influx - 1996
Drama - 1997
