Sub Pop Records

Sub Pop Records can literally be called the most important independent record label of the nineties, introducing the world to the early '90s Seattle rock scene (we're not going to use the "g" word). Sub Pop helped launch the careers of Nirvana, Mudhoney, Afghan Whigs, Soundgarden, and countless others. But Sub Pop maintains its status as an underground icon by constantly releasing bands like Godheadsilo, Sebadoh, Red Red Meat, The Jesus and Mary Chain, then Iron and Wine, Band of Horses, No Age and so more.
