Sound-Ink Records

New York's genre-bending Sound-Ink Records was formed in the summer of 2000. The label represents cutting-edge electronic artists such as DJ Mutamassik, Max Bill, King Honey, and Heat Sensor and features the likes of Mike Ladd, Divine Styler, and John Tejada.

Heat Sensor
Atmospheric beat jugglers Heat Sensor produce complex, edgy rhythms for (among others) uncompromising, this-is-the-way-it-is-you'd-better-deal-with-it rhymers like Creature. Infesticon commander and Big Dada affiliate Mike Ladd is another known lyrical collaborator.

King Honey
Up and coming abstract hip hop producer King Honey lays down dark, twisted beats over which new-school MCs Kurious, MF Doom, and King Ghidra furiously spit.

Max Bill
Max Bill makes haunting, minimal beats for celestial travel and nefarious activities alike. His solo work and collaboration with MF Doom (under the Viktor Vaughn hood) have been released on New York's experimental Sound-Ink label.
