Mountain Cooperative
Mountains? In Brooklyn? Well, who knows how they chose their name, but since 1994
New York City's Mountain Cooperative has been a model for community and
teamwork. Anyone who's interested can get involved in the collectively run label and
everyone who's involved gets the same amount of credit. The approach has worked well as The Mountain Cooperative has issued more than two dozen releases by artists from all over the map, both musically and geographically.
