Jazzanova Compost Records
As the name suggests, Jazzanova Compost Records is a collaboration between two German labels, Jazzanova Records and Compost Records. Formed in '98, JCR has released jazz-inspired breaks-infused house and downtempo from the likes of (funnily enough) Jazzanova, DJ Matsuoka, Uschi Classen, Nuspirit Helsinki, The Underwolves, Koop, and Victor Davies.
The Underwolves
London hipsters The Underwolves parted company with Island Records to be with the Jazzanova-run JCR label. Their dynamic fusion of drum and bass, soul, and hip hop is perfect for Germany's premier nu-jazz imprint.
