Divot Records

Divot Records was conceived in a car traveling across Wisconsin in 1995 by Fred Popolo and Jamie Fleishcel. The two wanted to establish a record label so they could release recordings of Jamie's band Guttersnipe. Soon after they had 500 copies of Guttersnipe's seven-inch record to try to sell. They admittedly didn't know much about selling records, but they soon learned as the label snowballed with each release. Jamie has moved on to other things in the meantime such as working at Southern Records, yet Divot remains as a staple of quality rock music.
