Label heads Brad Scott and Charles Cardello founded Bifocal Media back when both were students in Greenville, North Carolina. They've since moved west to Raleigh, where they've begun releasing a varied selection of indie rock CDs, LPs, and videos.

Kerbloki
Rap-rock old school style. This trio of New York City pranksters mixes guitars, programmed beats, and pass-the-mic goofball raps in a hugely entertaining way that might make you think of a similarly rambunctious, white, genre-bending, and somewhat more famous NYC rap group.

The Ladderback
This North Carolina quartet sculpts towers, mountains, entire shifting ephemeral landscapes out of noise. Their overwhelming sonic assault veers from huge blow-'em-all-away hardcore to mathy complexity to almost catchy harmonies. The Ladderback isn't an easy listen, but definitely a compelling and rewarding one.
