As promised, here is the second batch of six exclusive launch MP3s:

The Impressions "I'm The One Who Loves You" (Cool Pepper Disc) – From The Impressions' 50th Anniversary Salute to Curtis Mayfield, a Chicago doo-wop group that launched the careers of Curtis Mayfield and Jerry Butler. Cool Pepper Disc is a rapidly emerging Nashville label founded by legendary producer Jerry Michael. Michael has achieved perpetual, industry-wide success as a songwriter and publisher for artists such as Kansas, The Impressions, Aretha Franklin, The Four Tops, The Oak Ridge Boys, and Shirley Caesar.

Marissa Nadler "Baby I Will Leave You" – Marissa was so excited to work with us that she had a track off her upcoming fan-funded and self-released album sent straight from mastering. We are as excited as she is to premiere this shoegazey chamber pop gem.

Restorations "Neighborhood Song" (Tiny Engines) – Philly DIY punk band including ex-members of Jena Berlin. Off their upcoming self-titled album produced and mixed by Joe Reinhart from Algernon Cadwallader.

Starfucker "Born" (Polyvinyl) – You might recognize this Portland indie-electro group from the Target Pink Pepto commercial from 2009. "Born" is the glitch-folk album opener on Reptilians.

Withered Hand "I Am Nothing" (Absolutely Kosher) – Edinburgh anti-folk troubadour Dan Willson is Withered Hand. Produced by Kramer (Low, Daniel Johnston).

The Wrens "As I've Known" – In a move of classic Wrensism, the fellas swooped in at the 11th hour, offering us a brand new track to premiere. Somewhere between demo and album ready, this aural panorama is sure to appear on their highly anticipated new album in some form or other.
