Seeing as it's festival month on Epitonic (the last day of it, at that), I've obviously been scouring the Internet to learn as much as I can about the scene this summer. Through all my research, I don't think there is a festival I would like to attend this year as much as Green Man Festival in the Brecon Beacon mountain range in Wales.

Two mountains (the Table Top and Sugar Loaf, specifically) give the festival a backdrop few can match, and a river surrounds the festival grounds, creating a scenic paradise perfect for a weekend of music, comedy, literature, and think tanks. The festival is loaded with big time acts like Van Morrison, Feist and Mogwai, but what really excites me is the amount of artists playing in which I'm completely unfamiliar. Music discovery, as I've harped on before, is my favorite thing about music, and what better way to discover amazing acts than seeing them live, in the summer, in Wales. Now if only I was going...
