The Wetfloor Kru -- DJs Scalp, Repeater, and Oli -- came together in '98 in the town of Amiens, just north of Paris, to represent hardstep drum and bass for the Hexagon (as many French call their six-bordered country). Their dark-as-night textures and hardcore breaks bang in stark contrast to the atmospheric qualities and jazz/funk-inspired styles usually associated with French jungle producers like Source Direct or DJ Cam. Scalp and Repeater have named Ed Rush, Optical, and Andy C among their favorite wax terrorists. Thi track graces the first 12-inch from KOMA Records.
