French minimalist techno producer VS_Price got his start in the noise rock band ANAH and his musical roots are apparent in the crunchy rhythms that hammer atop the popping clicks and glitches of his compositions. VS_Price applies his ominous, abstract beat structures with jarring treble effects and looming soundscapes in both his live performances and recordings, which consist of two releases, "Syncinésie"/"Télétravail" and "Op.comp" (with R. Kuffer), both on France's Adénoïde Records. "Plast_N1" appears on Bip-Hop Generation v.4, which features contributions from fellow techno minimalists Si-{cut}.db, Twine, and Mira Calix.
