Tracer is one of the most promising unsigned rock bands of Chicago. The group takes sounds first developed by bands like My Bloody Valentine and Radiohead, and melds that with a heavy dose of British-influenced pop. One of the most interesting influences of the band are the quick electronic-influenced beats played by drummer Jesse Hozeny. One example of these beats is well documented in the song "Indigenous," which is their newest contribution to Epitonic. Tracer is destined to do well. Theirs is a sound as rich and entrancing as a laser in a room full of smoke. Get lost in an auditory light show that will blow your mind. This may be Tracer's first curtain call, but many more will follow.
