The Spires of Oxford
Colorful Clouds For Acoustics
Improvised over the course of two evenings in March of 1997 and recorded directly to two tracks, The Spires of Oxford is the solo project of Jason DiEmilio from The Azusa Plane. Jason tosses aside the heavy distortion and aggression of The Azusa Plane, instead taking the listener into a pleasant dream state of inner exploration with strummed, layered, and delayed guitars, with echoes of dissonance in the distance.
