From the late 1970s until 1992, the Feelies were college rock heroes, eschewing input from outside producers and bucking their sensibilities of their post-punk contemporaries, crafting shimmering multi-tracked guitar soundscapes instead. After slightly over a decade in indie rock limbo, the band reunited in 2011 to release the aptly-titled Here Before.
