Alex Orton-Green and Ben Bashford -- aka Sons Of Mecha -- are blowing up on both sides of the pond. "Rocweiler," their most impressive output to date, has been licensed to countless compilations, remixed by drum and bass impresario Dylan, and licensed to the soundtrack for the movie Groove.
The VR Boy & DJ Erb-produced remix (available on the Cowboy Spliff compilation Electric Kingdom) takes the listener back to the halcyon rave days with its mental mix of original breaks, "Dominator" synths, and farting drum and bass-lines.
