Surf is alive and well in New Orleans. The Royal Pendletons' "Royal Blood Part II" is a full-speed-ahead surf rock explosion that positively hums with the spirit of a hot rock and roll beach party. Wild organ flourishes mix it up with speedboat guitar riffs and splashy drums to make a sound so irresistible you'll be dancing in your beach chair.
The Royal Pendletons contributed three songs to the N.O.-Fi compilation, including "Royal Blood II" and a cover of the 1966 Better Half Dozen classic, "I'm Gonna Leave."
