Pilote
Domino
Pilote's Doitnowman is a journey into the introspective. Originally released on his six-track EP The Floor, "Fairplay" contemplates "I've had a good life, I've had a very good life and I've had just about enough of it really." Reminiscent of U-ziq, Pilote enters into darker areas not often explored by his peers. In "The Dialogue," a young runaway is consoled by a man with a gun. Albeit minimalist, the track shows surprising depth. Slow in the begininning, Doitnowman sets a steady pace that pulls you into one track after another. A good listen all in all.
