Not Rebecca takes the high energy and quick tempo of the Johann's Face Records family and then go on to create their own addictive sound. Not Rebecca can be paralleled to the likes of Husker Du and Samiam. The songs have a punk rock aesthetic yet there are plenty of elements of straight forward rock. They have developed nice harmonies with introspective lyrics over a well tuned hyper rock instrument section. This gives the band a quite appealing mixture of influences and direction which will a be favorite for those who like their punk rock fast but easy to swallow.
