This reggae-inflected track from New Era was recently featured on the soundtrack to Face, a British gangster movie starring Damon Albarn of Blur and the esteemable Robert Carlyle, best known stateside as the slavering Francis Begbie in Trainspotting. Note the correct placement of piano chords over lockstep hip hop breaks and fat, spongy dancehall bass.
The track "New Era" is taken from the Fi Sci Records compilation Eclipse of the Moon and Falling Stars.
