Joel Mull

Joel Mull was born 1975 in Stockholm, Sweden, capital of the Northern Lights. Mull learned to play piano at age six and studied at Adolf Fredrik Music School for six years. He played keyboards in various rock and funk bands during his teens.
Today, he is one of the prime movers on the Swedish techno scene. He runs his own imprint, Lask Recordings, and has produced records for noteworthy labels such as Loop Recordings and the new tech-house imprint Solarplexus. Mull has said that his main musical inspirations are Kraftwerk, jazz, funk, and classical, and you can hear bits of all of these influences in his hard-hitting Nordic house music.
