Hoover
Slowdime Records
Legitimacy is essentially the acknowledgement by people in a society that certain forms of creative activity are recognized and positively valued. Damn straight! Hoover was a recognizable force in their time. In the fall of 1997, Hoover reconvened in a meeting of the minds once again. Let's just say some unfinished business needed to be documented, and as you will discover, the essence and chemistry is still there. This record comprises a glimpse of what could have been after their 1993 full-length The Lurid Traversal of Route 7 (available through Dischord Records). It is emotionally charged and drawn out with full intensity, brutality, and honest maturity.
