God's Reflex kick out the jangle rock, not unlike The Promise Ring with perhaps more aggressive musical inclinations. Staccato guitars and scattershot drumming give "Wet Window Sill" a different edge. And when combined with the yearning vocals, they form a unique synthesis which confidently rises above the standard lamentation fare. This is for all the lads and lasses with broken hearts.
