Further
Better Looking Records
During their fairly brief existence in the middle of the '90s, Los Angeles indie ensemble Further played bouncy, quirky, lo-fi indie rock music which didn't get a ton of attention at the time but endures alongside the contemporaneous work of bands like Sebadoh and Guided by Voices. Marked by lazy, fuzzed-out Dinosaur Jr.-inspired guitar parts and wry, spaced-out vocals, Further's music will fill the needs of those with an insatiable craving for more slacker college rock. After Further, members Josh Schwartz and Brent and Darren Rademaker went on to play in the Byrds-lovin' neo-cosmic American bands Beachwood Sparks and Tyde.
