Evelyn
Future Farmer Recordings
Future Farmers Records is dedicated to providing an outlet for the dynamic indie rock coming out of bedrooms and garages throughout the 209, 559, and 661 area codes and beyond. The Inbred: Sounds of the San Joaquin Valley compilation, released in 1998, features bands from Sacramento to Bakersfield, playing everything from folk to punk to country.
Evelyn plays fuzzy, crunchy, lo-fi indie rock that could very well come wafting out from a garage near you. And, like most great catchy pop songs, it's over before you even catch on to how clever the lyrics are (plus, they get bonus points for referring to Otter Pops).
Check out Rizzo, another artist on the Inbred compilation.
