Donald Glaude

Happy-go-lucky house and techno DJ Donald Glaude is a breath of fresh air in this world of stern, non-smiling DJs. Fortunately, the grinning four-deck wizard has the skills to back up his spirited persona.
For over 15 years, Donald Glaude has been honing his mixing skills on four (yes four) turntables. Originally from Tacoma, Washington, the charismatic Glaude secured early gigs in Seattle playing alongside the likes of DJ Dan. It was Dan who introduced him to the chaps at San Fran's Funky Tekno Tribe. A few FTT gigs later and Glaude was firmly established on the West Coast scene.

Glaude's exuberant personality and ability to work a crowd promoted L.A.'s Moonshine to commission a mix CD, Off The Hook. It proved so successful he followed it up with another, this time recorded live at Buzz at Washington DC's premier after-hours, Nation. On Mixed Live, Glaude confidently cuts, scratches, and transforms his way through 18 house and techno tracks produced by the likes of Christian Varela, Nick Holder, Paul Johnson, and Onionz and Master D. Two of his own high-energy techno/house hybrids, "Soul Cha Cha" and "To The Soul," are also featured.
